Megan attended the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law. While in law school, she was active in the school’s advocacy program serving as President of the Board of Advocates and competing on the school’s moot court team. She was the receipt of the 2017 State Bar of Texas Appellate Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy; an award given to the top moot court competitor at each Texas law school. She also served as Senior Editor on the UNT Law Review. During her final year of law school, Megan clerked at the 5th District Court of Appeals.

- Successfully obtained summary judgment on both liability and damages in an oil and gas case concerning the interpretation of a Purchase and Sale Agreement.
- Successfully obtained summary judgment in favor of client’s affirmative claims for breach of contract and fraud. In addition, obtained summary judgment on defendant’s counterclaims for fraud and tortious interference in a case involving forgery and the alteration of Mineral Estate Purchase Agreement.
- Successfully obtained an over $800,000 judgment in an arbitration proceeding involving breach of promissory notes and related issues before the American Arbitration Association.
- Successfully negotiated favorable settlements in numerous personal injuries, product liability, and high-stakes commercial disputes.
