The Dallas and Houston-based law office Hedrick Kring Bailey has announced the addition of Kodie Bennion as a partner at the firm effective immediately. Bennion’s tenacity and consistency have led to his promotion from attorney to partner.
Bennion has been with the firm since 2018. After graduating from Harvard Law School with his J.D. in 2008, Bennion went to Dallas to work as an associate at Vinson & Elkins LLP. He later joined the team that successfully represented Halliburton in the litigation arising from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. He also worked representing JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. for several years in mortgage buy-back litigation. As a business trial lawyer, Bennion has impressive experience with cases involving contractual disputes, trusts, oil and gas and real property. With every case Bennion handles for Hedrick Kring Bailey’s clients, his aim is to provide results-driven representation and achieve his clients’ goals.
“Kodie joined the firm five years ago, and we’re now proud to elevate him to a partner,” said Jacob Kring, a Managing Partner at the firm. “He exemplifies our core values and we are excited about his continued growth with us.”
