We are excited to announce the addition of Counsel Elizabeth “Libby” McDonnell to the Hedrick Kring Bailey team! This advocate comes to us with impressive experience and an outstanding reputation. We know that she will thrive in our Dallas office.
Libby specializes in complex civil litigation matters, including e-Discovery platform utilization and compliance. Her practice focuses on commercial and business litigation, contracts, partnership and shareholder disputes, construction design and defect matters, real property issues, fiduciary duties and professional liability and negligence. Licensed in both Texas and Florida, Libby has served as outside counsel for multi-million-dollar businesses, including an international road engineering firm, a global specialty chemical producer, an oilfield services specialty provider and a regional insurance carrier. In 2019 she was named Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year for Galveston County, and she currently holds the position of Fellow for the Texas Bar Foundation.
Libby was also recently selected to be a part of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers 2021-2022 Leadership Class. This year’s class is made up of 35 young lawyers representing more than 30 law firms, companies and governmental entities in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Since 1997, the program has connected young lawyers within the legal community and fostered growth, mentorship and development based on community service.
